Anche se stiamo parlando di un singolo di Method Man possiamo tranquillamente dire che questa sia una Wu-Tang Clan track. Per il singolo "The Purple Tape", estratto dal suo album "The Meth Lab" fuori il 21 Agosto, Meth ha infatti chiamato con sé i soci Raekwon e Inspectah Deck e il risultato è una bomba.

Da segnalare come nella sua strofa, Method Man, tiri qualche frecciatina al rapper della G-Unit Young Buck: 

"Young Buck, I'm just trying to toughen you up/Can't let you hustle with us, you ain't struggled enough. Y'all been cuddled too much, maybe mothered too much/So the burner giving out loans, here's a couple of buck!".
