Con queste parole su Instagram, The Game ha spiegato il motivo dei continui rinvii del suo attesissimo "The Documentary 2" che, dunque, uscirà in due parti: la prima, come annunciato in precedenza e di cui abbiamo a disposizione la tracklist, vedrà luce nei negozi di dischi e digitali il 9 Ottobre, la seconda una settimana dopo, il 16 Ottobre.

Sempre nello stesso post, dove si possono apprezzare anche le grafiche dei due cd, il rapper di Compton spiega la motivazione del doppio disco: "In un mondo dove le label costringono gli artisti a realizzare album con massimo 10-12 canzoni, io me ne sbatto visto che anche due dei miei artisti preferiti (2Pac & Notorious B.I.G.) hanno buttato fuori un doppio album....voglio dare l'opportunità ai miei fan di averne uno da me!".

"The Documentary 2" avrà quindi all'interno la bellezza di 38 brani. Siete pronti per ciò?!?

The albums are very lyrical & descriptive as well as dope production wise & Dr. Dre approved..... This is AFTERMATH !!! & I cannot wait til you guys get these albums... Poco dopo questo annuncio è stato pubblicato online uno dei singoli più chiacchierati contenuti all'interno di "The Documentary 2". Stiamo parlando del brano "El Chapo" (prod. by Bangladesh) realizzato assieme al noto produttore e dj Skrillex e in cui possiamo apprezzare The Game rappare anche qualche barra in spagnolo. Buono ascolto!
